The recording, which consists of many rare pieces, some now out of print, has attracted interest from the Elgar Society which is based in London and Worcester. "They are going to take some records from us and sell them in Worcester which is Elgars birth place", said Mr Collett. The record, which was made for Wealdon Studios, Kent, also includes five songs featuring Judith Robinson, from Nottingham, who is accompanied by Mr Collett. "A local headmaster suggested that we made a recording because the choir is of such a high standard. And we are very proud of our singing - it is not the usual school choir that only the mums and dads go to listen to", he said.

Although the record is not due for release until Marchmore than 200 copies have already been ordered. "We have had orders from about 100 people and of course members of the choir will buy copies as well as the Elgar Society", said Mr Collett.
